undertale au idea i had, cranking the "trapped in the dark" thing to 11, literally and thematically, entire place is pitch black besides artificial light and all monsters are more adapted to the dark, also its a little creepy for fun
@CartoonGal1 They both became mutated monsters, and in the end they were squashed like bugs by the ones they betrayed.

My favorite archetype of all. They're based on ghostly beings on a knight's equipment, from monsters to traps.

2018 - Now this was THE year!. I had so much fun with games that came out this year - Spyro Reignited, Just Cause 4, and it's difficult to settle with one, so 2 games for this year. RDR2 was the best game I've ever played, and MHW was a BLAST w/ monsters, DLCs and 3 years of FUN!

Painting 8 was inspired by some of Goya's aquatint pieces, such as "The Sleep of Reason Produces Monsters", mostly in composition & contrast, as well as the abstract subject matter.
In 2018 I had the pleasure of playing this dungeon crawler gem from NIS America, Labyrinth of Refrain, a title that on the surface looks cutesy but hides very dark and sometimes terrifying storytelling and nightmarish monsters in its corridors. Still one of the best around.
