I realized after doing this style experiment that I think art's gotten stale for me lately, and so I've been playing around getting back in touch with my anime roots and studying some modern elements I like.

These two pieces are where all the research I started doing made things click for me - a combination of stuff I picked up from skillshare courses on the free trial and studying a lot of other people's work, mostly in the realm of design and fashion rather than illustration...
Its like all my years of studying and learning art fundements just came together.
It brought out a courage in me, I actually felt like I "knew what I was doing" and began to tackle previously intimidating subjects, like humans and exploring edge comtrol.
2020 is ending soon and it was a really tough year. We really hope that 2021 is going to be better for everyone and that all your dreams and plans can come true. 🍀
