Another tip is like: u can “clip” a layer that is above another layer which makes it the everything in the first layer ur canvas, ex.

As u can see the original black line art on the sec image is like drawn over with other diff colors, dats wut clipping can do.(hope u see this:v)

quick tip, if you set it to solid mode with flat lighting and texture, then it looks pretty alright. it's unshaded, but a lot of shadows are textured on, so it looks nice anyway. i have no idea why her skin is pink when in material view...
