I try to keep it as free flowing and organic as possible. When I start trying to twist things to fit, the cards usually miscarry. I’ve got a few of those that I’ll likely redo before I consider myself finished with the project. The Hanged Man took me a year before I got it right.

Depends on the texture of clothing to me a lot of the time, if I draw in any clothing wrinkles I circle them around the shape with shading, as well as emphasize the under portion with shading to bring out weight! I also keep the top a little lighter for that rounder feel!
