I need to have things properly laid out tho so I dont end up drawing jankiness

As a tip try not to use airbrush a lot :] it works good in certain situations like soft lighting for a sun but it looks very overused in your art.

Try using a regular pen to fill in your shade like this. Hard lighting, only use airbrush if you want to erase from your shading.

Base color done! The upper part (Hat, hair, eye and umbrella), I used cold tone color and the bottom part (her dress), I use warm color. This combination may be weird but I wanna try a/w XD
