I keep toying with the idea of drawing the original X-Men in a weird body horror, sci-fi style but I keep getting stuck on Prof X and not making it any farther. Started stumbling into the idea of making Cerebro look like inside a brain or spinal cord or something.

20 years ago, the X-MEN franchise began.

And so began the cursed tale of Channing Tatum’s GAMBIT.

The movie was almost directed by Rupert Wyatt, Doug Liman, Gore Verbinski and even Channing Tatum himself.

However, the curse ended when the movie was cancelled by Disney in 2019.

The first X-Men film blew my mind as a kid. I started drawing superheroes and fell in love with (before I understood what that meant 🏳️‍🌈.) 20 yrs later I'm v happy to have done costume illustrations for some Marvel productions
