This is a style test I did for a horror comic that I'm working on & I'm not sure if I want it to be B&W with a splash of color, Greyscale, or completely B&W.

5. color layers only affect color, so if it needs to be lighter/darker, i duplicate the layer and change it to "glow dodge" for lighter, or "multiply" for darker. then i change the opacity & extra color as needed (and clean it up a bit)

and done!

Shame about the shadow though. That shadow was a solid color, no transparency but the edges. That's why I still house the originals with backgrounds in the archive. Nothing is lost.
