This is how I drew Ember and Wade back in early November 😭
I used ibisPaint at this time using the color-lasso tool to make shapes without linart
I guess I completely forgot about their noses and went right in adding details 😀

He works in a very water color like manner. Barely any colors are used on the skin. Lot's of areas are left white. black surfaces are usually just flat ink. Clothes also tend to be flat colors (with some minor lighting details), unless he wants to make something look rubbery.
