After watching long enough, I think I finally have opinions on the 3 leading ladies. Towa is, IMO, the most boring. Setsuna is Sesshoumaru-lite, without much to make her compelling. Moroha is the one who is actually interesting, great personality and curious backstory.

So far what I noticed was these things: fox imagery in several places - rivals or working w/ the clan, Shimada castle shown above the town - even taller than the neighboring mountain, Shimada emblem on the manhole covers. The Tiger nightclub also has some shady shit in there
