Testing out Clip Paint Studio on my husband's Surface. The tools and layers are a bit different from what I expected since I'm so used to Photoshop, and it doesn't help that I'm not comfortable with drawing on a Surface either. So... here we are.

I think it turned out okay. :|

The red colour of Mars is due to a high concentration of iron in the dust on the surface. The iron within the dust reacts with oxygen, producing a rust-red colour, while the sky appears red as storms carry the dust into the atmosphere.

One thing I love about painting is the mark making - the brush strokes applied to the surface of the canvas.
