Listened to newest song "Friday the 13th." It was pretty good. Had to grow on me, but it's still real chill and an easy listen. What got me about it though were the animated portraits of the band. They mesmerized me, so I decided to draw my favorite, 2D. Hope ya enjoy.

I at least intimated this in SCROLL 09 but its low-poly aesthetic is so good. The way they used colors for the day-night cycle really enhanced the beauty of it, not unlike III and IV did in 2D.

Usually when people draw ponies they make them very 2d.

Sometimes I still get sad remembering they decided not to go with 2D animation for Moana... because animating the water wouldn’t work right in 2D... and then I remember these and get more sad. 🙈😭 I just miss Disney 2D animation for their feature films.

The way I see it is like this, unless I misinterpret the one on the middle due to the lighting.
Anyway, its just a little fun analysis, it's not uncommon for 3D not to be exact as the 2d. Can also be due to other factors(style, tech limit, etc.). Btw, I'm using the middle(๑´ㅂ`๑)

Yeah. It's going to be a live action/CG hybird in the vein of films like Roger Rabbit and Space Jam.

So it's going to be a CG characters, but they're going to be stylizing them and using hand drawn elements so that they look 2D.
