Joe Johnston's THE WOLFMAN (2010) was released 10 years ago today!

It is, frankly, a fantastic film. I'm stunned that it bombed and that it didn't wind up being a successful launch platform for a new run of Universal Monsters films.

To be fair, it’s very difficult to see his films. My favorite Chaplin imitator is Billie Ritchie. Or was Chaplin a Ritchie imitator? It’s a real possibility. Sadly, Ritchie’s film career was cut short when he was attacked by an ostrich on set.
