"The Zanti Misfits" is an episode of the original The Outer Limits television show broadcast on December 30, 1963. An alien world demands that Earth provide a penal colony for its criminals: The criminals are grotesque, rat-sized, ant-like insectoids with almost human faces.

Such a clean and direct sense of character, strength of line and emotion, his protagonists are attractive without being physically absurd, his antagonists are unique without being grotesque, GAH, so good.

My final piece for the Sea Robin.

Some of the sea robin/ gurnard's fin rays evolved into flexible digits which they presumably use to feel across the ocean floor... or walk out of the ocean and terrorize parts of Japan in a grotesque invasion 🤷‍♂️

Now let’s introduce out styles!
This is speaking!

I love giving a grotesque and surreal twist to my drawings and stories. And I never say no to a good old gross and creepy monster!
I also love fantasy and horror settings, but also psychological fiction!

Illustration from a Book of Hours attributed to an artist of the Ghent-Bruges school and dating from the late 15th century. More rainbow-coloured "grotesques" here: https://t.co/Hpvm20Azgh

I did it! I gave in and did the challenge cause I'm too weak to the memes!! Been enjoying the takes that puts a twist on the original character so here's my little grotesque version of Sailor Moon.

I love doing horror and body horror stuff, I may lose friends over it for whatever reason, but I can't help but make grotesque Lovecraftian abominations.

I'll shout out another amazing horror artist, a specific theme would be dark or muted colours and teeth. -->

The new mascots are usually 100x better than the creepy hyper soft shaded, grotesque 80’s Disney knockoffs the cereal companies have done in the past. 😂

With the Immortal Hulk, we've seen some grotesqueries in body horror. I think this is the first time we ever saw the Hulk 'break' out of Banner.
