Inktober Day 11: John Calvin (& Hobbes)

An homage to my all time favorite comic strip, "Calvin and Hobbes" by Bill Watterson, based on John Calvin's quote, "From this we may gather that man's nature, so to speak, is a perpetual factory of idols."

A modernised Calvin And Hobbes for this week's Line It Is Drawn. Rather than playing outside with his imaginary tiger, I figured a modern Calvin would be more likely to be stuck indoors playing the Hobbes game on his iPad...

I got into Calvin and Hobbes young enough that it was always "well, of course comics can do this, it's only natural."

But then Watterson's writing got me into Krazy Kat, and whoo boy, THAT was a revelation. A whole other world opened up.
