1: Hatari - Neyslutrans.

As soon as it released in mid-January, before we knew what kind of a year we were in for, I knew this would be a contender for my top spot. Really looking forward to what's to come from the Icelandic trio in the future!

In Iceland there is a lovely tradition of exchanging books on Christmas Eve and then spending the night reading. This little guy would certainly be welcome there 📕🐛#iceland

Jolabokaflod!
https://t.co/vg6F0S61Oa

The moment I heard about Jolabokaflod, I knew it was for me. In Iceland, books are exchanged as Christmas Eve presents, then they spend the rest of the night reading them and eating chocolate. "Jolabokaflod" means "Christmas book flood".

I finally took the time to finish these lines! The sketch had been laying on my surface since July last year. I drew the sketch when I visited Iceland ♥

I cant wait to give it a proper coloration!

Iceland's Jólakötturinn (the Yule Cat) is a giant cat that is said to eat you if you don't get any new clothes by Christmas.

It's about punishing slow wool-work, but I like to imagine that Yule Cat is benevolent to those who can't make new warm clothes.
