Good morning! Today we’ll be sharing our the prehistoric giants of our collection - mammoths, bears, deer and many more! These were gigantic mammals who thrived after the extinction of the dinosaurs, many of which lived alongside prehistoric humans.

This is a Saola, an Asian endangered species and one of the world’s rarest large mammals.

The depth of knowledge and understanding of our world is always such a fraction of the reality, and I want my art to relate to this struggle of relevance for wildlife and the world.

Very rare to see feral elephants in intense desperation. I find them to be the cutest feral in these kinds of situations in part due to their massive size relative to other land mammals.

Been sitting on this since late November, actually. Behold, Nelly. The lizard wizard, as drawn by . She's about 7'6" (2.29 meters.), greatly enjoys physical contact with mammals to steal their warm, and is dangerously obsessed with magical items. (Even cursed ones.)

The saola, found in the Annamite range in Laos & Vietnam, is one of the rarest large mammals in the world. It was scientifically discovered in 1992, when remains were discovered during a survey in Vũ Quang Nature Reserve.
