Love the transparency of colour and scratching the surface to reveal the colour underneath. It’s a satisfying process, layering colours on top of each other and the tonal mixes that happen. It was a good day in the studio 🎨👩🏽‍🎨

I don’t normally do commissions but then the last year has hardly been normal. Based on Neil Gaiman’s Sandman: Brief Lives, final art is acrylic gouache, 20x30 inches. I doubt I’ll ever do anything like this again, don’t ask!
