Tamlen’s ears are quite sensitive - to the touch, but also, of course, to noises. On the downside though, his ears are also very expressive and turn bright red when he is flustered or embarrassed - both things he can’t really hide that easily.

the movie shows him slowly driven into the wall (with less impactful punches) and then smashes into it - which would have been a nice touch, if that cut wasn't so quick.
