Allow me to introduce you to the Blipug line.

Pretty useful early on, it becomes a Bug/Psychic type upon evolving into its cocoon form and it keeps that typing into its final evolution. It's pretty strong for a bug type and it's surprisingly bulky.

And it fucking sucks.

And that leaves Taako with the Water-type. I mean, he does have an umbrella. Taakumbra, Swumteevee, and Abracamongoose. They channel mystical energy through their tail, granting them the Psychic typing. They can manipulate the water that collects on their hat.

Magnus is the Fire-type. I mean he even has "burn" in his last name. Magnursa, Bearnsides, and Rushesinferno. Their rowdy behavior grants the Fighting typing. They use the whetstone-like features on their chest to sharpen their axe-claws, which they use to fell trees.

I made them all the animal masks they had for Petals to the Metal. So Merle's an owl, and obviously the Grass-type. Merowl, Highperch, and Flownatruth. While incapable of flight, their close connection with nature has granted them the Fairy typing.

General consensus, what would their typings be if they were pokemon starters? 🧐
