For 16 years, Yu-Gi-Oh! was one my ways to never give up. I’ll never have enough words to describe how important YGO was and still is in my life. Thanks to Kazuki Takahashi for created one of my fav fictionnals characters ever. ❤️ From a child who grown up with your amazing work.
The final episode of the ygo anime was the 1st piece of media I ever remember crying over. At 10 years old I thought it was the peak of television but idk if I would've believed you if you told me it'd still be so special to me 12 years later. Thank you and rip Kazuki Takahashi
Happy 28th Birthday, Yusei! I practiced my digitial painting skills with this one, and I wanted to give Yusei a birthday cake this year! Complete with 7 candles, and his signature jacket's look, also for #ygo5dsweek! @YGO5DsMonthWeek day 1 is shaping up to be awesome!
I'm still in a bit of loss about the passing of one of my childhood influences, moreso on anime and manga. Collecting cards and watching the series was one of the joys then.
It has been years since I last drew any fanart of YGO...
#yugioh
i feel like if i really get too into it i will start crying before work so i'll keep things brief, but ygo and the art in ygo has always been a big inspiration to me.
so here is some of my ygo art throughout the years, dedicated to kazuki takahashi
thank you
just... YGO was the reason I learned how to draw. YGO self-insert fanfic was the first thing I wrote in my free time in gradeschool. there are many parts of it that haven't aged well--but it was the seed of my creative being and just. damn. feeling reflective today
I rly loved jounouchi and Mai but specifically Mai, she is my favorite ygo girl and he would draw such beautiful pics of her even after the OG manga and shows ended 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
懐かし絵 部屋のキャンバス漁ったらygoド沼ってた時期に勢いで書きまくったの発掘できて懐かしくなっとる
ほんとあんなに長期に沼ってた作品ygoぐらいしかなかったんよな…
YGO really had me art-ing my heart out, which is in part the reason why I do what I do today.
I have my beloved OCs for the series too…
One of my favorite memories will always be of my time adoring YGO. The friends I’ve made and the fun times will always be precious to me. These fanarts are so many years old now 🥲 (I used to draw “screenshots” too)
YGO was one of my childhood inspirations as an artist. ;n;
高橋和希先生ありがとう
Posting some old YGO art because damn did Takahashi's creations resonate with me 😔💜
@MuleKickSucks Officially you can read it on the shonen jump app and it’s subscription is only two dollars, when Viz publish the manga they split the story it into 3 half’s
YGO> duelist> millennium world
I was fortunate enough to send this fanart of mine to Takahashi (a fan put together a YGO zine which was handed to him in person in a con years ago), showing him how much it meant to us
