亥年とのことで「イノシシグモ」#Arthrogirls
「ワラジムシハンター」として名高く、多くのクモが狙わないはずのワラジムシなどの等脚類を好んで捕食する。等脚類の甲羅を軽々と貫いて破る…と言われがちけれど、実際は巨大な顎 (鋏角) を器用に使い、獲物の無防備な腹から毒を注入して仕留める模様。

3月「オカモトトゲエダシャク」
早春のTLに写真がちまちまと出ている翅の畳み方が特徴的な蛾。
これなら生物的生々しさが控えようになれる！と安直に思う当時の私は馬鹿でした。特に前翅での表現は全くも変わらない。「画力とアレンジ力が欲しい」と強く思いさせる1枚でした。

「ユキガガンボ」ともいう、雪上を歩き回る冬の虫。一般のガガンボとはかけ離れた姿をもち、翅が退化し、飛行用の筋肉を欠いた胸部のスペースは、代わりに一部の卵を収納することに用いられる。低温での活動に適し、体液中の特殊物質で体の凍結を防いでいる。
