When I say things about balancing the colors/saturation it's because it makes the image a lot easier to understand, even in a gray scale.
(This is very important when doing backgrounds or special effects)

The last one is an old drawing where I didn't aply this.

Standing second to last is a grey palette based off Giratina, the legendary Renegade Pokemon from the highly regarded Pokémon Platinum, who lives in the Distortion world and has a similar serpentine shape to Snivy albeit on a larger scale.

And that's not today's only post! ;)

I thought it necessary to give some color to Jakurai-sensei's image... His hair and his eyes are too beautiful to be seen exclusively in grayscale.
Do you like it?

Might give this a tweak and repost it later. Any thoughts?

I swear my art always looks better in greyscale. I might just make that my style, fuck colour.

Have some environmental paintings based off story
I am VERY happy with how each and every piece oozes with color, atmosphere and scale.

Finished. Royal Cult of Surgeons. According to psychologists, it's not unusual for surgeons to score high on the psychopathy scale. No surprises there.

Another little experiment with a wintery sunset scene. I’m continuing the theme from my last three landscapes as I realised the composition of the last one wasn’t quite right. I also wanted to add some people to get the sense of scale.

I know my paintings are really colorful and Yes, I love that about myself, but sometimes there’s just something *~*~spicy~*~* about them in greyscale.

So today I decided to do something with shadows! Since I'm not that great with both colors and shadows, I decided to do it grayscale. I hope you like it!
