New OC, Dachen Ellet! He's from Burma (now Myanmar). He took on the last name "Ellet" when he came to the US because Burmese people generally don't have surnames. He's a veteran of the Burma Campaign during WWII, where he fought alongside the British against the Japanese.

George is not Chinese, he is Taiwanese. Based on my old Acer laptop from a Taiwanese company. Taiwanese do use Chinese as a national language like America uses English and the culture are very similar, with some Japanese. Just don't call him Chinese, it is insulting!

In Movie 13, the intro contains a scene of Ash battling Ethan from the video games. However, this is not Jimmy, Ethan/Gold's other anime counterpart from the Legend of Thunder specials. Settei sheets from the movie name the character Hibiki (Ethan) not Kenta (Jimmy) in Japanese.

Your OC and what they're named after

Kusaki (草木) means vegetation or "plant" in Japanese. I've always had a strong affinity for Japan growing up and plants as well. My design branding, photography, home interior is all plant themed. So Kusaki just seemed like a natural fit 🌿 https://t.co/TQTxkZPkLk
