Pic 1: Many ppl kinda taper it or make concave lines (1), this looks off to me. An EVEN width (3) is important!
Pic 2: (A) Looks stiff, (B) looks unnatural, (C) is nice! Keep low unless foreshortened

Balloon tail widths, where they meet the balloon, should always be consistent. Here's how I do that: When I add tails (pic 1), I make sure the "fat end," where it touches the balloon, is about the same width as the letter-height of my dialogue font (pics 2&3).

Upgraded the new build's shoulders again with hidden missiles.
Spent a few hours just aligning a 1 plate width missile cover in the center of a 1 brick / 3 plate high sideways assembly. Harder than it looks but happy with how it turned out.
