The first fanart I posted online was of YGO in 2006. Through time my art has changed and evolved a lot, but I think the small trace that still remains is in the eye
Didn't really want to tweet this bc it's kinda cringe but YGO was/is very important to me! From the shows to collecting the cards and dueling my cousins, it was a big part of my childhood. The recent news of Kazuki Takahasi passing got me feeling sentimental.
oh man I'm really going down memory lane now🤦♀️😂
YGO GX was my first OC x canon series asjdgkl
I remember I was really into making my YGO OC ww (3rd pic)
She had a dragon deck & worked under Kaiba Corp as a pro duelist, then crossdressed as a guy to enter the Slifer dorm HELP🤣🤣
Changing my pfp to my favorite YGO card for a week in honor of Kazuki Takahashi.
Mine is Sky Striker Ace - Roze. I don't play sky strikers anymore but I love Roze's design. Being a fan of both swords and anime characters in military regalia, she nails it both.
(I'm not off of hiatus yet but in light of today's news- I don't even know what to say. Kazuki Takahashi was one of my biggest inspirations. Created one of my favorite pieces of media ever. Ive been drawing a bit on my phone- some YGO related. Rip a legend)
And in the classic YGO fashion, it taught that relationships, especially friendships, will always stay - even if they've changed. It taught that love will always be a constant, and I'm truly grateful for it. So thank you Kazuki Takahashi, your creation means the world to me. ❤
Probably no one will care but I need to talk about this anyways...

#KazukiTakahashi thank you for giving us #ygo
Rest in Peace 💐
For 16 years, Yu-Gi-Oh! was one my ways to never give up. I’ll never have enough words to describe how important YGO was and still is in my life. Thanks to Kazuki Takahashi for created one of my fav fictionnals characters ever. ❤️ From a child who grown up with your amazing work.
The final episode of the ygo anime was the 1st piece of media I ever remember crying over. At 10 years old I thought it was the peak of television but idk if I would've believed you if you told me it'd still be so special to me 12 years later. Thank you and rip Kazuki Takahashi
Happy 28th Birthday, Yusei! I practiced my digitial painting skills with this one, and I wanted to give Yusei a birthday cake this year! Complete with 7 candles, and his signature jacket's look, also for #ygo5dsweek! @YGO5DsMonthWeek day 1 is shaping up to be awesome!
I'm still in a bit of loss about the passing of one of my childhood influences, moreso on anime and manga. Collecting cards and watching the series was one of the joys then.
It has been years since I last drew any fanart of YGO...
#yugioh
i feel like if i really get too into it i will start crying before work so i'll keep things brief, but ygo and the art in ygo has always been a big inspiration to me.
so here is some of my ygo art throughout the years, dedicated to kazuki takahashi
thank you
just... YGO was the reason I learned how to draw. YGO self-insert fanfic was the first thing I wrote in my free time in gradeschool. there are many parts of it that haven't aged well--but it was the seed of my creative being and just. damn. feeling reflective today
I rly loved jounouchi and Mai but specifically Mai, she is my favorite ygo girl and he would draw such beautiful pics of her even after the OG manga and shows ended 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
