4. Characters. Often my own characters from RPG campaigns, as I find it really helpful to have a clear image of what they look like.
@RoundRams I couldn't pick, but honestly I consider these to be the quintessential references for my characters. The size, the shape, the level of softness... Everything about it is perfect. For Oliver especially, as my first art of him, I couldn't believe how wonderful it came out.
