Tried to make a dwarf to fit my #ttrpg fantasy-Egypt setting. I usually don't draw dwarves because I'm afraid of messing up their proportions, anatomy, shapes, etc to look believable
So I just forced myself to do it anyway

Keeping character design simple on this one.
Size is proportional, he alone fills the tank by being inside.
As far as drawing Bowser goes, I think I'm slowly improving? The older one is way oversaturated in color. He still takes a ridiculous amount of time to sketch, but I feel like I nailed his proportions better.
Using different references helps a lot

Impidimp is a great little asshole gremlin. I love its unorthodox colors and cartoony proportions. Right along the lines of Aipom and Little My from Moomin as things that just scream "rat bastard." And it has a new type combo! I hope it evolves and has an evo that's just as good.
i'm not a character designer, so I created this chara by just stealing elements from people more talented than me. proportions from "Tomcat's big adventure", the face and cheeks from Tankuro, and I tried to put in some Alvin Fai inspired shapes
She's done. Took a while but I like the result. Learnt a ton about proportions, anatomy, topology, skinning, rigging. I also added lip-synch (pic 3, an example of "aa"). Couldn't figure out how to do eye tracking nor blinking since VRC is a bit finicky. And I'm dumb owo💦
