Greg Land is a serial tracer but whoever he was tracing Johnny off of for Ultimate Fantastic Four was cute at least!

I think this is going to be my favorite anniversary piece. Probably because it's the first one I've ever done with just my ability. No traced references, self references for hand adjustments and an actual attempt on expressions.

It feels good.

W/ this weekend being the 8 year anniversary of SH I've been looking back at my journey to getting to where I am.

From being a writer that really badly traced anime pics

To trying to learn anatomy and form from tracing photo references.

To now on my own. It's weird.

He even went to chibi-jen-hen's dA profile to let her know about the situation but never got a response back.

He later put up a journal of a few art MollyKetty has traced from chibi-jen-hen.

That's when MollyKetty found out and blocked my friend.

I seriously love how Nojima took Nomura’s original Final Fantasy VII character art for Elmyra and built a whole subplot around it in Traces of Two Pasts.

Thanks again to for the translations.

Btw, it was for something dumb.
A simple hold gently meme.
It was one of the only drawing I actually partially traced.

some people gotta really chill on traced art for concepts especially, not everyone knows how to draw poses or anatomy similar to fortnite, some artists just wanna share their ideas :(

heck even experienced artists that make concepts for epic use existing material as a base

Tracer and Hammond.

I was going to draw other characters but didn’t feel motivated to do so, plus I had no ideas.

Different background colors because I like colors
