With Episode 23 - A Wingless Halfing coming out yesterday, I felt it was time to start sharing some of these.
@jennymstead created each character along with their Soul Bond before episode 1 was even launched.
Meet Artemus, Penny, and Archimedes.
So naturally I had to backtrack and see if human characters had been portrayed with nipples before and the answer is… No.
So. If nobody in HxH has nipples, and Chimera Ants inherit traits from humans and anything they were crossed with, where the hell did Youpi get nipples from

Detail from Raphael's The School of Athens (1509–1511) featuring a Greek mathematician – perhaps representing Euclid or Archimedes – using a compass to draw a geometric construction. #Raphael
Well, after a long process of reflection, I came to conclusion of creating a kind of closed specie with my chimera and write down a whole story about its origins, purpose and civilisation. I told to myself that it would be interesting to explore something serious with.
It took me long enough, but I've finally sat down and got my icon changed to my own work.
Archimedes is so cute dammit.
@SunnRay_ Her name is Chimera who is a Druid (and soon Barbarian) and she’s a big angry buff lesbian all the time 🌸
From my first attempt to illustrate something: a story by my friend
to the first serious illustration training exercise: The Chimes by Charles Dickens,
to a casual illustration of an forest spirit.
