Slightly adjust my lining tool, like the flats sooooo far, things will get more interesting when I add light...

May need to adjust the flats but ehhhhh, there is no learning without some failure! Kyahahahaha!

lines and flats! as im gonna be painting this directly, just one or two passes, i wanted to get the lines as clean + clear as i could. the colors are very ... flat, not very realistic, but i'm not really trying to be! next step: transfer lines to paper and shellac.

Finished the lineart and flats just as I finished the movie!! Really good, (a million times better than Suicide Squad. Literally a million times.)
All the characters were perfect.

Good news: Picked out colors for the entire outfit now

Bad news: Laying down flats allowed me to see some stuff that could use more detail/change in design so I still need to go back in on lineart to adjust some things _(:'3 JL)

Zulala_l 's DTIYS on instagram. Learned a lot doing this! Like I'm better off using flats on a single layer than masks on multiple 😅 Way too hard to keep track of otherwise!
