Today's MS of the Day is the GAT-X207 Blitz Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED! This is one of the Gundams made at Heliopolis and stolen by ZAFT. A key feature is the Mirage Colloid system, letting it go invisible! It's piloted by Nicol Amalfi (He liked to play piano).

I love the design aesthetic of Witch From Mercury

Gundam Aerial is probably up there with Moon and Wing as my favorite Gundam designs
Gundam Lfrith looks good but if I bought it I’d be likely to paint it

The Beguir-Beu looks a little weird to me though. Very insectoid

Even the style of the line art itself feels very consistent with Ebikawa's work in particular. The Gundams are for sure a different artist though.

I do wish we had some info on G-Witch's staff. I look at the line art for the designs and it kind of throws me for a loop as to who it might be... I feel like it could just as easily be Gyoubu, Ebikawa, or even Ishigaki. Or even somebody new to Gundam I'm less familiar with.

just pointed out to me that the Gundam Aeriel has a very similar feel to the Le Cygne from Ecole Du Ciel

I can't say he's wrong tho, I do feel the ressemblence

New Gundam looks interesting. I'd say the AU series strike out more often than they hit, but I'll always approach a new Gundam with curiosity.

Gundam Lfrith and Beguir-Beu were also shown on the site. These are part of the prologue, whatever that could mean.
