I'll admit I have a definite liking for "uncanny valley" designs that merge human and completely inhuman/obviously mechanical traits.
And, for better and for worse, it's almost exclusively utilized in female designs.

Playing Back4Blood makes me appreciate just how much of a design masterpiece Left4Dead (and L4D2) were.
