We were correct, something is going on with Wainwright's face and eyes. I cut off the pic and added a little of contrast, and I was right, I had seen those weird lines, which are further seen if you turn the pic black and white and make the magenta areas black, see?

Initially I wanted an all black background, but I added the blue to mix it up and make Sonic stand out a bit more in contrast. Also tried to give him the wavy aura from X. Not my best, but I'm happy with it.
