This is how I make my art's outline more soft! Look closely. Instead of all black outlines, I use a clipping layer onto the outline layer and paint over each part's outlines with a color that's similar but a bit darker than the fill color! It makes it look more soft and polished!

New oc concept! Its a being created from dark matter. It doesn't require air, food or water to survive. Its basically nothingness. It's head is severed from the body yet it stays put as if it was still attached. It can be found wandering through the darkest corners of space.
