Jan: moved into a new house, severed ties with my old roommate and started therapy, was super broke
Sept: started college alongside my day job, found out my grandmother has COVID, surviving on caffeine https://t.co/100YbRLTg3

january vs september. i’ve had the weird experience of actually doing *better* in quarantine, because of how the timing of my therapy stuff has worked out. https://t.co/l3CG4o62EG

January vs. September

I was... just coming off the high of my Vegas trip, was gonna start crackin' down on gettin' my ged, go to therapy, get a good job...

Then I had that fall out with my mom, and then covid, and then s.onic, and now I'm just miserable most of the time

She’s a bad vegan: as in, her mother taught her better; as in, she has a predilection for bugs. You volunteer at an old folks’ home together and everyone knows her. She makes you feel unworthy, but that’s not on her; it’s a “you” thing. Maybe you should go to therapy.

Got a skin tone study done (and played with halftone). Gonna do more skin tones after my therapy appointment 😌

‘The Red Tree’ by Shaun Tan is a beautiful, tender, picture-book that explores depression and loneliness though incredible imagery. The motif of a red Autumn leaf is used throughout as a glimmer of hope. It’s there even when you can’t quite see it.
