Hot take but I miss when dealt with humanoid yokai, they were usually abstracted or fused with a animal/object! 👻 and Venoct are great examples! But literally all of the new humanoid yokai now in Puni Puni is ‘how much accessories can we slap on them’ 😭😔

Looking closely at Pepper and the Siren, you can see that the Siren is wearing a life jacket and seems to have a much more humanoid look. This was something that was mentioned by , as there's previously been no human characters that have featured on the show.
