Another detail is highlights. They are mostly applied on hair and other reflective materials. These are white but sometimes have warm lining and the shade where they are placed usually gets darker before the actual white, like watercolor.
After that, all the elements that share color will have their own separate layer, also blocked. Painting each one individually. It is good to give shadows a light part. Usually these shadows and their lights take a violet tone. The actual light takes a warmer tone.
