If you can’t access IG: This is a gender-/gaze-changed reimagining of a mermaid drawing by Kim Jung-Gi, shown in a twitter thread that I’m still trying to find discussing “high art” (male gaze/male heterosexual fantasy) vs. “low art” (female gaze). I found it VERY creepy to draw.

Whenever I see people freak out about a character showing skin and posting bad edits, it reminds me of the weird ass dominatrix edits Yu-Gi-Oh! has for harpies.
Than these two doofuses show up (Lightning and Ai from Yu-Gi-Oh VRAINS) and they wanna do something about what's happening.
I don't know why Lightning wants to help, he's a villain in Vrains but OKAY WHY NOT.
Day 952: Karate Gi! Tonight's result wasn't too great. I'm neck deep in Final Fantasy XII and it's been distracting me the past few days. I need to get back on track soon, though I'll admit having this weekend as a break was nice. Still, plenty to learn and practice! :D
