Decided to redesign some video game characters as if I made them!

I decided Mario and Sonic would be the best to start with, since they're the most prolific platformer heroes.

Mario wears faux-racoon fur, and Sonic wears a jacket based on the Sonic 2 title screen!

Some tests that were done while first getting Crash 4's fur to work in Blender. Notably, I couldn't for the life of me get it to look ok in Cycles, only Eevee. The first image is a preview of what my Crash 4 render would have looked like in the former's engine.

I also did my first Chroma test, it would be for Rose Quartz! I think it's well balanced now though once I do the purple variation I might have to tone back the fur 🤔

Still, I feel like to get this chroma to a more finalized state it wouldn't take me too long 😊💕
