I used to make art with pitch black shades here and there (it was subtle). It was meh, so I stopped doing these. But it's been years. AND Hades came out, having fantastic art design. Makes me want to come back to these shades. Try playing with colors. Put big dramatic shades. AHH
odogaron is one of those monsters were despite having a SHIT TON of thematic subtext behind his design, none of it feels out of place or overshadows other aspects of his design, everything feels cohesive and somehow shockingly simplistic.
