The Amiga was a stunning machine when it came out. 🤔 IIRC I think I upgraded to a C128 when a lot of people were upgrading to 16-bit machines. Despite that, when I finally did get the A500, it was still a stunning leap up from everything in the 8-bit arena. 👍

RetroArch recently redid its UI from the ground up. It's 1000% better now. It's so good I'm going to be pushing it as my top recommendation for 8-bit/16-bit/32-bit gaming systems.

I think Vader down is a good crossover even if I get your point. It has extra meaning to me because there's that great 8-bit animation of the story, and the "Fear and Dead Men" line was so memorable.
