One of our favourite finds is the Indian-style, Christian-themed paintings of Angelo da Fonseca (1902–1967). His mingling of cultures and aesthetics did not sit well with the Portuguese Colonial Government, and he was condemned and expelled from Goa.

Another comic I really enjoyed was Leong's Prism Stalker! Its poetic and thoughtful sci-fi focused on colonialism, identity, and adapting to the thoroughly alien. (Also has a rad leading lady!) Please go buy the trade so we can get more of this! 👽✨
