Mary held the colonial and capitalist ideology that everything and everyone has a worthwhile purpose, and that they can be "useful." Even the littlest fern may take millions of years to prove it's worth, but with a little help may prove useful to science. (Art by @fatty_box)
Quiet time. But I can feel the conversation in between the subject and the lamp. It was some broken sound that no one can hear.

Apes in my world is crazy so here are some concepts~
apes getting lewd on a ship, a chimp in space, the Ricardian Colonial Legions standing firm against invaders, an aristocrat getting hit on by his mercenary guard.
When Pigafetta first arrived in pre-colonial Philippines, he was impressed by the amount of intricate gold adornments worn by the locals. As you can see from this illustration from the Boxer Codex, our ancestors were decked 💪

This is another favourite I've been sitting on (first time I've drawn a proper chestburster, too)! My cover for @DarkHorseComics #Aliens: Colonial Marines #3, coloured gloriously by @Spidey2099! Hit your comic shops to get your name down for a copy!
"Trinity" was finally dry enough to scan - this is a reproduction of one of my favourite motifs of Colonial art, and certainly one of the most esoteric-looking to me.

Another comic I really enjoyed was Leong's Prism Stalker! Its poetic and thoughtful sci-fi focused on colonialism, identity, and adapting to the thoroughly alien. (Also has a rad leading lady!) Please go buy the trade so we can get more of this! 👽✨
@DriveThruRPG @Modiphius Thanks to @kentichops for the core design, @emcheeseman for the beautiful art, and @LulaVampiro for consulting on post-colonial narratives. Its killer app is the Arbiter, a playbook that describes the land's ruler - and can be claimed by a player if their House seizes control!
The authorities sent a group of Colonial Marines to exterminate the beasts, but it turned to be an absolute fail. Now the Empire, tired of the problems that the plague is causing, has sent a detachment of Stormtroopers of the 501st Legion: Vader’s Fist: the pride of the Empire!
The Common Wealth is an anti-colonial, Ocean's 11 style heist comic about a found family trying to dig themselves out of the holes they're in, not by climbing out, but by digging through to the other side. Read in @bunteacomic here: https://t.co/IEmxYE3kpC
