Noel Brannan 1921-2001 b. Tynemouth, trained at Lincoln School of Art & Leicester College of Art. He painted industrial landscapes, often in Warwickshire & the East Midlands and despite a full time career as an art teacher, he still managed to exhibit his work quite extensively.

It's such a cool series. If you're interested in fantasy landscapes, look up Adam Adamowitzs work. He passed after Skyrim came out, but Bethesda posted almost all of his work on Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Skyrim. Really cool stuff.
