1. Aim for an art style that fits the characters.
2. When drawing realistic art, study photographic references
3. Limit your palette. Drowning in details is the rookie mistake of a novice. You don't need more colors than the picture calls for.
I dont think this was "iconic" but it's my first art that really blew up. I'd say this art still holds up 💙

Seriously, what was I thinking uploading the earlier version? I really should take a day between finishing and uploading to catch these mistakes, but I just get too impatient.
