I'm a 2D and 3D artist, 2 and 4 are some of my sculpts.
I ussualy start with a rough sketch, then sketch over that and then line that. Then I color use an alpha lock to shade and I'll either straight paint over the image or use multiply or linear burn layers to add shadows

Trying to stop myself from shading with multiply layers cause it makes everything yucky but shading without it is so painful how do people do it 🥲

Oh, the eyes are actually the easiest part of my drawing! It's slightly difficult to make the shapes for them but the colouring aspect of them are actually really simple!

I first do my colour, then I add another layer and set it to multiply, add the second colour at the half -

smacking a multiply layer on top of a coloured sketch is the most shading i've done in a while 😂😂

I really like multiply layers

Kencho- I would put him in between average and superhuman, stronger than most average humans, just not superhuman.

Endife- At her strongest, she's at least Mountain level, any subsequent transformations will increase her power according to their respective multiplyers.

-multiply layer -lay over the flats in a clipping mask - a semi dark colour: red and pinks for warm, purple or blues for more cooler lighting -use white to build in the areas light would touch (i prefer working from dark to light) - + a 2nd multiply layer for just darker shadows

niho, the last of the concept characters.

I find it so interesting that the shadows by his nose/eyes look blue, but if you colour picker them they are still red-based. (I got them by getting a blue and putting it on multiply on another layer, because I needed a colder tone)

pausing this one for now, multiply layers are v cool but i'm not really getting the right look w them

Awww, you're so cute and adorable when you're so tiny~ Think I'll make you EVEN SMALLER! That'll just multiply your cuteness! ...And then you can worship my toes~ It's a win-win! >:3

I often worry that I rely too much on layer modifiers in my art (luminosity, multiply, etc) so I decided to try a different style and not use any of them.

This is still a w.i.p, but I'm posting it anyway.

Bacteria multiply through cell division - most undergo a process called binary fission resulting in two daughter cells. 👯

So what I did to make a fire effect was
1st: Create an "Add (Glow) Layer" and set it to 20% and add a orange shine
2nd: I created a "Multiply layer" and shaded the parts around the fire
3rd: Colored in the fire and bam thats it
