I love Yotsuyu.
I want to be hugged by him and get poked by all of his spikes.
When I was a kid I would touch the spikes on the bottom of the chair mat, since it feels cool. The same would he true for hugging Yotsuyu.

I've always thought of these things as connected.
There's a lot we do not know about Rock Human biology, even with the infodump we got.
Yotsuyu's eye plastic wrap seems to be some kind of silicon construct.

Someone who isn't talked about a lot is Ayumi Namae, character designer for FFXIV. She is the one who designed characters like Yotsuyu, Yugiri and Lyse, but also designed outfits for Y'shtola and Urianger for Shadowbringers.

She started with FFXII, designing Ashe's wedding dress
