@VincentBecherer @DerrickMalikJo It's REALLY something I struggle with being a concept artist for so long. I love ~AMV style vibe shots~ but that's not the point of a board. It's to tell a story with shots that connect narratively.

So my weakness is narrative so I study wtf a shot says narratively a lot.

@VincentBecherer @DerrickMalikJo I do original work and when I run into walls I do studies to help me figure out how to dismantle them and climb them better.

Also being married to a boarder whose been doing it for 10 yrs helps to talk too. He's always grilling me what is the narrative point of a shot.

This comic, which beautifully depicts the relationship between Carol and Tony, was a UNLIMITED limited series, but that was not the point.
It deserves to be read by more people.
