little side note for my ref sheets the wings aren’t different left and right they’re top and bottom (hence the ventral and dorsal notes there) but if it gets too confusing i might just need to add the wings on the refs 😭

i never do refs the same way twice but i found that i really like inserting expressive headshots as a way to show mouth colors / fill space + adding notes everywhere pointing to specific details!
