Finally did another one of those phone background showcases; been a while. Spent some time basically fixing up the template for these phone backgrounds to make them look a bit better going forward... whenever I do them. :)

Hii I’m Lex and I draw a lot of 2D, I’m primarily a digital artist with a penchant for drawing pretty girls, ponies, and… well. 2D LOL, all usually in an empty void because I can’t draw backgrounds, also a fan of doing a lot of dynamic, painterly lighting

Lots of progress today... almost done... May be able to publish monday or tuesday... Need 2 more outfits. The pride backgrounds... A friend is doing atokirina... So close to being done... Added some scratches and angst for the tortured OCs...

P.S. backgrounds will be close for the moment since I’m working on an ongoing manga.

I find multiple character pieces harder to make, that and backgrounds/perspective. So I was really happy with how the first two turned out for these reasons. ;;
The sketch is just, idk how I was able to make it so soft but I really love it still. 🥹

damn, that Palkia one kicks ass!

these are some of mine I still really love. going from simple coloured square behind character to focusing on creating more atmospheric backgrounds has brought a lot more life to my drawings that I’m very happy with
