Clothoid curve test. I think about sophie tauber arp curves all the time and this curve gets a little closer to what I want. It’s less circular than Dubins curve but same kind of idea and I think it’s used for highway design

As is oft my last colored artwork of the year is a gift for my husburr's birthday which is on new years eve :) I was happy to finish this one in almost one sitting! I love circular motifs and he is the king of spooning so this was a pic waiting to happen heheh~ 🎂🐯🐻

Even though Flora is probably my favourite character, Penny is really fun to draw. (Can’t tell if it’s because of her shapes or her colours. Maybe both.) There are a number of Pennys in my drafts drawn in vaguely circular frames.

mildly fun fact: I was going back through old drawings again to find the first appearance of Nilla's checkerboard belt. It used to have circular studs that gradually morphed into square ones as I got sick of drawing them. This was the first time I filled in the checkered pattern!

A few Ken Adam concept drawings for his film sets. The War Room from Dr. Strangelove is definitely the most iconic... and it's basically just 3 simple shapes: the triangular room, big square panels and circular table. It's like some weird golden-ratio type perfection.
